// The Challenge

Ship a production-grade, cross-platform password manager with zero servers, on an emerging peer-to-peer runtime with no established precedent, while handling the full complexity of a local-first, distributed architecture.

// What we built

  1. Desktop applications for Windows, macOS and Linux, built on Pear Runtime
  2. Mobile applications for iOS and Android, with vaults stored locally on the device
  3. Browser extension for Chromium-based browsers, with autofill for logins and payment cards
  4. Peer-to-peer device sync with end-to-end encryption for passwords and passkeys, with no server in between

// The Outcome

Delivered one of the first consumer products on Pear across desktop, mobile and browser: fully open source, with no servers to breach and no user data stored anywhere but the user's own devices.
